No. We provide a meeting place for members to showcase their skills and for clients to find suitably talented applicants.
Unlike agencies we do not take a commission on any work you get through us.
South Asian Faces cuts through the red tape all too present in existing agencies allowing members and clients to meet in a simple and cost effective way.
It is free for both Job Seekers to register and for Clients to post jobs.
What different types of membership are there?
There are 3 types of Membership:- Standard, Platinum and Premium.
Standard Membership - Free Membership for members who are just starting out in their career.
Platinum Membership - For Members who are serious about their careers. Allows you add add multiple profile, add media profiles, apply for all types of jobs plus many more features. Click Here for a Full List of Benefits.
Premium Membership - Allows Members to chat to other members by email, SMS, MMS or using our online Chat facilities.
How do I apply?
The only way to apply is Online.
When Applying Online if you'd like to add pictures they must be available in jpg format and they must be resized and optimized correctly in order to be added to your online profile.

Do you offer advice on becoming a Model?
Our service is not to advise models or give advice as to whether a particular person is suitable for modelling.
Our service is to provide a platform for models and clients to meet in a cost effective efficient way.
How does South Asian Faces differ from other Agencies/Websites?
We are a new breed of agencies at the forefront of the latest technologies driving the Industry to new levels.

No. Our clients are varied and flexible. This means that we can be more flexible about the type of members we accept.
We accept applicants of all ages from children upto seniour citizens.
Is membership free?
It is free to join South Asian Faces.
If you would like to use the advanced features of our website then there is an option of becoming a Platinum member.
The benefits include being able to read messages from non paying clients, a free website, and priority over non members with regards to work, add multiple pictures to your profile + many more.
Do South Asian Faces take any commission?
We do not take any commission for any work you get via the website since you will negotiate with clients directly.

Can I arrange a consultation or speak with one of your advisors?
Generally no because 99% of all queries can be answered on the website.
If you have a question which isn't answered on the website please sumbit a support request via our website by clicking Contact Us.
Please note our advisors cannot answer questions relating to any particular applicant or their potential since we only answer questions relating to the website.
How do I view the latest jobs?
To view the latest Jobs you can either login to the website and Click View Latest Jobs in the options section or you can use your phone to connect to our WAP site.

How can I find out more about the job?
Generally all the information we have have or are prepared to give out are in the job description.
If it is obvious we have missed out important information regarding the assignment then please drop us an email.
Can I find out who the client is?
We leave it upto the client to decide whether they would like to give out their contact details.
How do I apply for jobs?
To apply for jobs you must click the Apply button on the Job Description page. You can view the Job Description page either as a direct link from an email describing the job or via the View Latest Jobs page.
Do I need to add my picture to my profile to apply for jobs?
Generally no however if the job requires a picture then it would be advantageous to have a picture on the profile.
Alternatively the client may request you send a picture via email.
How does the client make their selection?
The client will have access to the profiles of the members who have applied for the assignment.
The client will then shortlist applications based on the pictures on your profile, your cv and your experience as described in your profile.
It is very important that this information together with your contact details is kept up to date.
Will there always be an audition/interview?
It depends on the client and the nature of the role.
It is not uncommon for a applicant to be chosen purely on her picture.
If I can't make an audition can the date be rearranged?
In general audition dates are set to suit the client and can't be rearranged.
Smaller clients will sometimes set audition/assignment dates around the applicants.
How will I know if i'm successful?
If you are chosen for an audition / interview we will inform you either by email or by phone.
Its essential that you keep your latest contact details up to date.
Will you let me know if i'm Unsuccessful?
Due to the number of applications we receive its impossible to keep everyone up to date with assignments.
If you haven't heard from us regarding an assignment you have applied for then assume you have been unsuccessful.
Is it safe to meet people on the Internet?
Yes, meeting people via South Asian Faces is one of the safest ways of meeting people. You don't have give out any of your personal details to anyone, you can get to know someone at your own pace and can meet in public places.
Safety Tips:
Never give your home address, email address or telephone number to a stranger.
Always arrange to meet in a very public place, i.e. a Restaurant etc.
Always tell a friend/family member where you are going and approximately what time you will be back home... you can even get them to phone you during your date to see how you are.
Is membership free?
As a non-paying(standard) member you can send messages free.
You can read messages from paid members instantly free.
To read messages from non-paying members you need to wait 60 days.
To read messages from other members instantly you need to become a Premium Member.
Whats the difference between a Platinum and Premium membership?
A Platinum Membership gives you the benefits with regards to the job aspects of the site.
The benefits include a free website, a 75% discount on your membership fee, priority over non members with regards to work, add multiple pictures to your profile + many more.
The Premium membership allows you to contact other members and read your personal messages free.
How much is the Platinum membership?
The minimum membership period for the Platinum Membership is 6 months.

Can I contact other Members?
Yes. To contact other members perform a search, click on the member's profile and click send message.
How do I stop other members from contacting me?
To block personal messages from other messages click Block Messages in the Control Panel and select as desired.
You can block members who do not fit the requirements specified in your ideal partner criteria or you can bock messages from all members.
You will have the option of blocking individual members on the received messages page.
How do I add a picture?
Just select add picture in the control panel. Your file must in a jpg or gif format and must be under 200kb in size.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership simply click Hide Profile in the Control panel.
If you wish to renew your membership simply login and select Reactivate Profile.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription send an email to jason@orbvision.com
Cancellation of your monthly subscription must be made at least 28 days before your next payment date.
In the email you need to provide your Profile ID or Email and agreement number.
Can I get a refund on my subscription?
Refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances such as in cases where an error has resulted in the wrong payment amount or if the member has accidently paid twice.

How do you use the Online Chat?
First you must ensure that your flash security settings allow you to access flash server content.
To do this visit the website http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html
Ensure you select the option 'Always Allow'
You must then ensure the messenger popup is not closed down.
Then on the profile page click 'Chat to Online Members'
This will produce a list of the members online.
Then click 'Chat to Online' under the member you want to chat to.
A chat window will appear however you will only be able to chat if you member you requested a chat with agrees to your request.
How do I Add a Job?
It is recommended to register as a client before adding a job as this allows you to edit your job and helps in tracking and contacting applicants.
You also get 20 Free credits added to your account which you can use towards contacting applicants.
Once you have registered as a client then just enter in the details of the job.
Please do not reveal information about your company or contact information in your job description.
This can be included in the auto message section.
The text in the auto message section is sent to the applicant once they apply for the assignment.
Once your job has been submitted it will be placed in a queue until it is approved by a member of staff.
If the job is approved successfully the job will be visible on the wesbite and you will gain 20 credits which can be used towards contacting applicants.
How do I View Applicants?
If you are a registered client you can view your applicants by logging in to your account and then selecting
View/Edit Jobs and Applications and then click View Applicants.
If you haven't registered you'll need to visit the link given to you in the confirmation email after you posted your job.
How do I contact Applicants?
To contact Models who have applied to your job view your applicants as described above and you will then be shown various options under each applicants.
You can contact members by either SMS, MMS. email or by an Online Chat.
Each method requires a differing amont of credits(see below for a description of credits).
How many Applicants can I contact with a credit?
The number of credits required to contact applicants depends on the applicant's membership status and the method you are using to contact the applicant.
To use the online chat no credits are required however you need to be a Premium Member.
You can tell if a member you are trying to contact is a Platinum Member since their Nickname will be highlighted in Gold.
Credits cost to Contact Platinum members. Email Message: FREE (No Credits) SMS Message: 5 credits MMS Message: 10 credits
Credits cost to Contact Standard members. Email Message: 5 credits SMS Message: 10 credits MMS Message: 15 credits
